Using your FTP Access 
You may upload files in one of two ways.The first is by using an FTP client such as Captain FTP® or Fetch® for macintosh users. Use Cute FTP® or FTP Explorer® if you are on a PC. You may also upload via a web browser such as Explorer® by typing in http://69.198.136.19. If you use a web browser, you may only upload one file at a time. To upload several files at once you must either stuff your files using Stuffit Deluxe® or make an image disk. Otherwise you will need to use an FTP client (mentioned above). Once you have downloaded any one of these you will have access to our FTP server. Follow the instructions below in order to make the process as smooth as possible.
Once you have uploaded your files an email will be sent automatically to notify us of your order. There is no need to contact a Color House representative.
File Preparation
In order to process your order as quickly as possible please:
- Name your files so that they are easily identified. e.g. your name followed by print size.
- If possible compress the files to reduce the file size. Both Zip and Sit files are acceptable; title the compressed file with your name or project.
- Download and soft proof your images on a calibrated monitor before sending.
File Requirements
- Accepted File Types: TIFF, PSD, JPG, GIF, or GF Print Pro Files
- Accepted Media Types: CD, DVD, ZIP, Picture CD, Floppy, Jazz, FTP
- Color Profile: Adobe RGB 1998 recommended
- File Size: 300dpi at the desired print size
